CULLOWHEE, N.C. - Sophomore Abbey Scroggins took time out of her busy class and practice schedule to give fans a look into her life off of the volleyball court. Each week a different player will answer roughly 10-15 questions to give fans a look into their life away from volleyball.

What's your major? Why? Political Science. I plan on attending law school after WCU
Favorite thing about WCU: The volleyball team

Other than volleyball, what is your favorite sport to play: I don't really get the chance to play other sports, but if I did it would be flag football.
Favorite sport to watch: Baseball, GO RED SOXS!
Any pre-game superstitions or any general superstitions: I have to wear the same headband that I wore the previous week of practice on game days. If we won the game before then I repeat the same pre-game routine.
Hobbies away from volleyball: Shopping, spending time with friends and family and eating.
If you could vacation anywhere in the world, it would be: Why? Normandy, France. It is on my bucket list to walk along the beaches where the events of D-Day took place. I'm a huge history buff.
Athlete/person you admire the most: Athlete: Beach Volleyball Olympic gold medalist, Kerri Walsh.
Non-athlete: My mom
Something people might not know about me: I absolutely hate feet! I don't even like my own!
Personal goal for the remainder season: Let go of my insecurities and become a stronger teammate.
My teammates would say I'm: Always upbeat and happy.
When I was 10 years old I wanted to be: a WNBA all-star! HAHA
