CULLOWHEE, N.C. - Western Carolina volleyball concludes its three-match home stand hosting rival Appalachian State at 7 p.m. tonight in the Ramsey Center.
Both clubs are looking to halt streaks. The Catamounts have dropped their last five conference matches while the Mountaineers are looking for their first Conference win this season. Western Carolina has a record of 3-17 and 1-6 in the SoCon while Appalachian State is 4-16 and 0-6 in the SoCon.
Sunday junior libero Liz Rondone broke the Western Carolina career digs record and currently had 1,692. Western Carolina is led this season by freshman Carrie Minogue who has 163 kills averaging 2.36 kills per game.
