CULLOWHEE, N.C. - Junior Emily Franklin took time out of her busy class and practice schedule to give fans a look into her life off of the volleyball court. Each week a different player will answer roughly 15-20 questions to give fans a look into their life away from volleyball.

Favorite activity with the team: There is a Puerto Rican song/dance that we do before every game and none of us really know the words so we just mumble but we do the dance REALLY GOOD!!
What's your major? Why? Math Education. Math has always came easy to me and both of my parents are educators. It is also an opportunity for me to coach high school volleyball!
Favorite thing about WCU: The Mountains.
Favorite place to eat on campus: I miss Dodson! But other than that I would say Einsteins!
Other than volleyball, what is your favorite sport to play: Football
Favorite sport to watch: Football
Any pre-game superstitions or any general superstitions: Don't really have any! The only thing is we always jump and tap the door frame on our way in and out to the court!
Hobbies away from volleyball: Tanning, Reading, and watching movies
If you could vacation anywhere in the world, it would be: Cruise in the Caribbean
Why? I love the sun and ocean.
Athlete/person you admire the most: My brother, Chris. He is dedicated and never makes excuses, but takes responsibility for his actions.
Something people might not know about me: My Aunt taught me how to Ski the summer before I came to college.
Personal goal for the season: To help the team reach our maximum potential.
My teammates would say I'm: The mom on the team.
When I was 10 years old I wanted to be: A pediatrician.
