Cullowhee, N.C. - Today's Western Carolina volleyball match at Gardner-Webb has been postponed due to inclement weather in the area. The teams have rescheduled the match to be played on Sept. 29 at 7:00 pm in Boiling Springs. N.C., on the campus of Gardner-Webb University.

The Lady Catamount volleyball team will travel to Buies Creek, N.C. this weekend for the Campbell Tournament. WCU faces Wofford Friday, Sept. 10 at 5:00 pm for their first match of the tournament, which will not count in the Southern Conference standings. On Saturday, Sept. 11 the Cats take on Campbell at Noon, followed by UNC Asheville at 3:00 pm for their final match of the tournament.

Also, it has been announced that the time for Western Carolina's soccer match at Georgia State (Sept. 12) has been moved to a Noon start time. The Georgia State match will be the second for the Catamounts in the Georgia State/Marriott Invitational this weekend in Atlanta. On Friday afternoon (Sept. 10), WCU will face Jacksonville State with match time set to begin at 4:00 pm in their first game of the tournament. Both matches will be played at the Atlanta Silverbacks Stadium, which is located 15 miles northeast of downtown off the intersection of Interstate 85 and Interstate 285.
