Cullowhee, N.C. - Western Carolina's women's volleyball team lost thier first match, 3-1, to Middle Tennessee State at the school's tournament in Murfreesboro, TN. The Lady Cats won the first game, 30-23, before losing their next three (21-30, 25-30, 30-32). WCU was without starters Stefanie Peters and Robyn Everly in the match, but the two will return to play during the Catamount's second match of the tournament to be played at 5:00 this afternoon against Chicago State.
