Catamount Tracks Podcast Preseason Interview with Head Coach Stephanie Dragan
CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Preseason practice continues for Western Carolina volleyball as the Catamounts prepare for their first match of the season August 29 against Stephen F. Austin.
The team has been working on their defensive scheme to prepare for the upcoming season. Head Coach Stephanie Dragan is also working with her squad implementing some plays she learned while being an assistant coach for the USA Developmental Team in Croatia this summer.
Dragan and the Catamounts have six returning players that saw quality time on the court last season, including three juniors in Katie Hennessey, Amanda Kerr and Liz Rondone, and lone senior, Liz McLauchlin. An influx of six newcomers, including five freshmen and a junior transfer, will be called upon early to flesh out WCU's rotation.
