CULLOWEE, N.C. - Western Carolina Head Volleyball Coach Stephanie Dragan announced the addition of two more signees to round out the 2008 signing class. Freshman Rebecca Stoltz (Woodstock High School/Woodstock, Ill.) and junior college transfer Brianna Lee (Coffeyville Community College/Sierra, Ariz.) are the final signees for the Catamount volleyball team.

Stoltz is a 6-0 middle blocker who helped lead her team at Woodstock High School to a regional championship. She was a three-year varsity letterwinner and the team captain her senior year.

"Rebecca will add depth to our middle position" Dragan said. "She played club for Sky High which is known for their training of middle hitters and is a nice compliment to our roster."

The final signee of the 2008 class is Lee, a 5-11 outside hitter. Lee spent two seasons at Coffeyville Community College and helped lead the club to a school-record 33 matches as a sophomore. She was also named to the KJCCC All-Academic Team.

"Brianna brings two years of college experience to our roster, playing for a successful junior college program," Dragan said. "She led her team in blocks per game and kills per game and will put up a huge block on the right side."

Stoltz and Lee join fellow signees Brittany Lysik (Cary / Cary, N.C.), Carrie Minogue (Assumption / Louisville, Ky.) and Emily Franklin (Paul Laurence Dunbar / Lexington, Ky.).

Western Carolina volleyball opens its season on August 29 taking on Stephen F. Austin in Lexington, Ky.
