CULLOWHEE, N.C. - With spring practice already underway, Western Carolina Volleyball announces a trio of spring tournaments, including hosting an event on Sat., April 20.
Spring practice for the Catamounts began on February 20 and will continue through April 26.
"We had a great first week back in the gym," said head coach Karen Glover who is entering her third season at the helm of the WCU volleyball team. "The team is excited, and we are working hard to prepare for next season."
WCU opens its three spring competition dates by visiting Tennessee on Saturday, April 6 before traveling to Gardner-Webb for its spring tournament on April 13, a four-team event.
Western Carolina hosts its home tournament on April 20. The five-team tourney features Gardner-Webb, Winthrop, Carson Newman and Lynchburg College to go along with the hosting Catamounts. Admission to WCU's home tournament is free and open to the public with attendance encouraged.
