GREENSBORO, N.C. - Western Carolina volleyball had two players tally double figure kills in the Catamounts 3-1 (27-30, 30-27, 19-30, 25-30) loss to UNC Greensboro (18-14, 11-7 SoCon) Sunday ending their season with a record of 9-24 overall and 4-14 in the Southern Conference.

Freshman Jelena Jakovljevic completed her first year as a Catamount with 16 kills. She also had five digs and five assists. Senior Meredith Harmon completed her career at Western Carolina with 13 kills, a solo blocked shot and five block assists.

The Catamounts dropped their first game 30-27 and then battled back to tie the game at one by the same score. The second game was tied at 27 and the Catamounts pushed through for the win with a kill by Kara Lynzee Brooks, and attack error by UNCG and a finishing kill by Jakovljevic.

Western Carolina ended the match with a .168 attack percentage which UNC Greensboro hit .269.
