Final Stats

Charleston, S.C. - The Western Carolina (10-7) women's volleyball team swept the first three games from The Citadel (5-10) Sunday afternoon.

WCU notched a .545 (13-1-22) hitting percentage in game one with a final score of 30-13. The Cats battled in game two recording only 11 kills, however, took the game from the Bulldogs, 30-20. WCU added an additional 16 kills in game three to The Citadel's nine to defeat the Bulldogs 30-24.

Sophomore Pamela Stein led the team in kills with 11 and only one error on 20 attempts (.500). Stein added five blocks solo and four block assists. Sophomore Shari Harder directed the team offense with 15 assists and led in digs with seven.

Western Carolina will travel to Southern Conference rival Appalachian State, Thursday, October 11. Game time is set for 7:00 pm.
