Final Stats

Charleston, S.C. - The Western Carolina women's volleyball team fell to College of Charleston, 3-0, in Southern Conference volleyball action tonight at the John Kresse Arena.

The Cougars (14-2, 5-1) took the first game 30-22 off six kills from Alisa Long. CofC went up in the second game by a large margin before the Catamounts (9-7, 6-2) stormed back from a 13-5 deficit to tie the game up at 15 apiece. Charleston fought back to take the game 30-24. The third game saw the Cougars win 30-19 to take the best-out-of-three.

Christy Attebery led the Catamounts with 12 kills while Sara Komosinski had 14 digs in the loss.

The Catamounts travel across the road to take on The Citadel Bulldogs at 1:00 PM Sunday.
