Final Stats

ELON, NC - Tricia Eble smacked 14 kills and Shari Harder dished out 26 assists as Western Carolina beat Elon 30-28, 30-21, 30-22 in nonconference volleyball action Saturday night at Alumni Gym.

The Catamounts (13-4) also received strong defensive performances from Michelle Gorton, Sara Komosinski and Stefanie Peters, all of whom registered 11 digs a piece.

Elon (3-14) was led by Emily Hayes (14 kills), Kate Hart (18 assists), Katie Newby (14 assists) and Katie Forman (17 digs).

The Lady Cats come home to host conference foe Chattanooga on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 7 pm in the Ramsey Center.
