Final Stats

Atlanta, Ga. - In what turned out to be a war of attrition, the Western Carolina Catamounts fell to Georgia State three games to one.

The Lady Panthers took game one 30-27, but Western Carolina came right back in game two, winning by the same score. In what continued to be a battle in game three, State was able to muster up enough points at the end to win 30-28. Game four saw the same from the two teams, but Western fell to Georgia State by a score of 30-28 to end the match.

Christy Attebery led the Catamounts, who fall to 5-5, with 21 kills, while Bri Milan-Williams added 47 assists.

Leading the Lady Panthers with 18 kills was Randi Van Dam, while April Decoste added 50 assists. Anna Popenko added in 16 kills, and the Sapp sisters combined for 25 themselves.
