Ellen Johnson begins second first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Catamount volleyball team. She comes to Western Carolina after playing four years at Virginia Intermont College where she was the team captain. She helped lead her club to the 2006 AAC Tournament Finals. Johnson spent the spring of 2007 working at the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. She also spent the summer of 2006 interning for the minor league baseball team the Johnson City Cardinals.
