Western Carolina Volleyball vs. Gardner-Webb - 09/18/12

Western Carolina swept Gardner-Webb in the Ramsey Center Tuesday night. The Catamounts improve to 4-11 with the win.

High School: The coaches of the Big South 3A Conference named Kings Mountain (N.C.) High School senior middle blocker Nicole Ford its volleyball Player of the Year. Ford led her team in kills (2.6) and digs per game (2.5), also pacing the team in kills, as a junior in 2010. Kings Mountain won the Big South championship finishing with an 11-1 record for the season. Ford was also the Mountaineers' captain for her senior year. She played club volleyball with the CJV 16's Blaze.
