CULLOWHEE, N.C. - The Western Carolina women's tennis team will host the Charlotte 49ers on Friday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at the Catamount Athletic Complex.

The young Catamounts enter Friday's match after a 7-0 loss to East Tennessee State University, returning to the courts after a 12-day lay-over. WCU (1-10) looks to halt a 10-match slide since winning over Presbyterian back on Feb. 10.

Freshman Nicole Nielly has played several close singles matches this season, most recently falling to ETSU's Anna Gerbasi, 6-4, 7-5.

The 49ers (8-4) enter Friday's match coming off a 7-0 sweep against fellow Southern Conference foe, Wofford.
