Columbia, S.C. - Western Carolina's Kristin Munn is competing in the A-1 bracket in singles. In Saturday's action Munn fell to Lauren Whisenhunt of Wofford, 6-2, 6-2. She will challenge Breanna Kray of Tennessee in the final day of play, Sunday, November 4.

Erin Johnson is competing in the A-2 bracket. Saturday, Johnson was behind 3-0 to Candy Gore of Wofford before she retired due to an injury. Shannon Zalinski fell to Shellie Cochran of Furman, 6-1, 6-2 and will next play Laura Puch from Armstong Atlantic State Sunday. Emmy King took an injury defeat from Sunnie Harmon of Clemson and will challange Megan Turner of Wofford. Kristen Cotton fell to Mary Wallace DeBerry of Wofford, 6-4, 6-1. She will next play Arden Dickenson of Wofford in the final day of competition.

Competing in the doubles is Fitzpatrick and Zalinski, who defeated Ranata Barreto and Natasha Lucki of Winthrop, 8-3. King and Munn defeated Kristine Banks and Erin Hantske of Wofford, 8-6. Cotton and Johnson withdrew due to an injury.
