CULLOWHEE, N.C. - Western Carolina women's tennis (3-13, 0-6 SoCon) picked up wins at No. 1 and No. 3 singles but fell to Chattanooga (8-10, 2-6 SoCon) 5-2 Sunday at the Catamount Complex.
Tessie Salame got her 10th victory of the season at No. 1 singles defeating the Lady Mocs' Lindsey Ballard 6-3 6-4. Catamount's No. 3 singles player Amanda Massey also picked up a victory for Western Carolina.
The Catamounts will be back in action Wednesday when the club hosts Furman at 3 p.m. in a make-up match that was postponed earlier this season.
