Cullowhee, N.C. - East Tennessee State handed the Lady Catamounts a 6-1 loss Sunday at Western Carolina. Rocio Perez and Erin Johnson teamed up to claim the No. 1 doubles match, 8-6, but the Buccaneer tandums claimed the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles match-ups to pick up the first point in the match.

In singles action, East Tennessee State took five of six matches. The lone Catamount win came from the number one player Rocio Perez. Perez defeated Courtney McInnis, 6-3, 6-3, to win the match.

The Catamounts will return to action Tuesday, March 23, at the Reid Gym Courts, taking on UNC Asheville at 3:00 pm.
