Hilton Head, S.C. - The Lady Catamounts made it a perfect week in Hilton Head, S.C., Wednesday as Western Carolina won its third consecutive match, defeating Northern Kentucky, 7-0. The Lady Cats are now 4-4 overall and 0-1 in the SoCon.

WCU swept all three doubles matches, only giving up eight total points in the process. Kristin Munn and Kristin Cotton are on a hot streak, winning their third consecutive doubles match when paired up. In singles action, the Catamounts shut out the Norse handily, with Munn and Cotton both defeating their opponents without surrendering a single point. All six Western players won in just two sets. Four Catamounts earned their third straight singles victory of the week as well.

WCU returns home to host Presbyterian College at 2:30 on Friday, March 21, and Coastal Carolina at Noon on Saturday, March 22.
