High School: Her senior year, Van Ewyk played number two singles with a 10-3 record... won first place in the Fair Oaks Tournament and was the runner-up at the Hudlow Junior Hardcourt Championships... played for Team Georgia and ranked 26th statewide and 99th regionally... She also made academic honor roll.

Personal: Katie is the daughter of Sue and Dennis VanEwyk and has two brothers: Mark and Greg... she has not yet declared a major.
