Sunday Softball Game Time at Appalachian State Moved to 4 p.m.

BOONE, N.C. - Due to rain, the start time for Western Carolina's softball's series finale at Appalachian State has been pushed back to 4 p.m.

The original start time was set for 1 p.m. but due to rain the area has been moved back in an attempt to be able to play the game.

The Catamounts and Mountaineers played a doubleheader yesterday with each team taking a game.Western Carolina shut out Appalachian State in game two 5-0 with freshman hurler Courtney Buchanan getting the win, in five shutout innings, and sophomore Taylor Sigmon earning her fourth save of the year, tossing two shutout innings and allowing just one hit.
