ORLANDO, Fla. - Western Carolina softball (4-14) dropped a pair of games in the final day of action at the Rebel Spring Games Tuesday. The Catamounts fell 7-2 to Detroit and lost in eight innings to Lehigh 2-1.
Due to limited information and scorekeeping at the tournament a recap of the games in unavailable at this time, however, full results will be available late Wednesday. So, please check back here for an in-depth account.
Western Carolina returns to action Friday in the club's first appearance at the Georgia Tech Buzz Classic. The Catamounts open the tournament against Akron at 3:30 p.m. followed by future Southern Conference opponent Samford at 5:30 p.m.
