Cullowhee, N.C. - The Western Carolina women's soccer team used one of its off days, Saturday, September 22, to volunteer at the Chevrolet Soccer Tour in conjunction with the Jackson County Soccerfest 2001.
The annual even featured food, games, an inflatable wall, raffle and Jackson County Recreation/Parks soccer games. The Lady Cats signed autographs and participated in scrimmages. The festival was sponsored by Allison's Chevrolet of Sylva and the Jackson County Recreation/Parks Department. All proceeds go to the Friends of Soccer.
