Nick Whiting begins his first season with the Catamounts as Director of Soccer Operations after spending last season as the media relations assistant at Jacksonville University.
Whiting served as the primary contact for men's and women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, women's track and field.
Prior to his time at Jacksonville, Whiting served as a professional football scout for the Indoor Football Scouting Bureau. He was also the director of player personnel for the Lakeland Thunderbolts during their American Indoor Football Association title run in 2007.
A native of Panama City, Fla., Whiting was a two-year starter at Rutherford High School, where he also lettered in football and track. A 2007 graduate of the University of West Florida, Whiting earned his B.A. in communications with a specialization in public relations.
