2005: Battling a lower back/hip injury, appeared in 11 of Western's 24 seasonal matches, starting a pair of conference matches including at home versus Chattanooga (10/23/05) and at Georgia Southern (10/28/05) ... Returned to Western's lineup for the final 10 games of the year - six in the regular season, all three in the Southern Conference tournament and the Catamounts' first-ever NCAA tournament appearance ... In her first action of the season, tallied her second career goal at home versus The Citadel (10/16/05) ... Arlan Whittle served a corner kick into the box where it was settled by Lauren Atkinson and dished to Jones for the goal ... 2003: Started in seven of 20 matches as a freshman, which still stands as her career-best ... Scored her first collegiate goal on a 40-yarder at UNC Asheville (10/6/03), to tie the game at 1-1 in the first half ... Long chip shot deflected off the Bulldog goalkeeper and found the back of the net in a match that ended in a 2-2 tie ... Got SoCon starts versus Wofford (10/12/03) and Furman (10/15/03) ... One of eight Catamounts on the Dean's List during the 2003-04 season.
High School: Was a three-time all-conference selection and named her team's MVP her sophomore through senior years, serving as a captain her senior season... Named her team's "Offensive Player of the Year" during her senior campaign... Was also a four-sport athlete for East Duplin HS, competing in soccer, basketball, volleyball and track and field... Was the "Defensive Player of the Year" for her basketball team both her junior and senior seasons, making the all-conference list her sophomore through junior years...
