One of the tallest Catamounts, standing at five feet and ten inches.
2001: Played in 19 games for the Catamounts and started in 10... Recorded an assist against conference foe The Citadel (9/23)... Doherty uses her long legs to frustrate opposing attackers.
2000: Played in 20 of 21 games... Recorded her lone goal of the season against Georgia Southern (11/3)... Was a consistent performer at defense.
1999: Started in all 20 games... Scored two goals on the season, Columbia (9/19) and Southern Conference opponent Chattanooga (9/25)... Recorded an assist against Guilford (10/3)... As a defender took five shots and scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Chattanooga.
High School: A stopper for coach Roger Bachour, Meghan was the most consistent player, scoring six goals as a senior.
Club: Helped lead the Upstate Blazers, with fellow Catamounts Kelly Barker, Kyla Deon and Nardia Moore, to the state championship all four years she played, advancing to the regional semi-finals in 1998.
