2001: Started all 22 games for the Catamounts... Recorded one assist at UNC Asheville (9/5)... Was a consistent performer all year defensively... President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council... Was the recipient of the Schrader Endowed Scholarship for 2001-02.

2000: Started all 21 games for the Catamounts... Plays tenacious defense with her quick feet... She is one of the most physically fit Catamounts and is solid on the tackle.

1999: Started all 20 games... Led the defense from her sweeper position.

High School: Played three different positions in high school... was an All-Conference selection as a junior under Coach Terry Archenhold... Earned All-Tournament honors at the Viking Cup and Michelin Shootout... Along with current WCU teammate Kelly Barker, Kyla led her team to win the state championships her senior, sophomore and freshman years.

Club: Played with the Upstate Blazers for four years... Helped lead the team with fellow Catamounts Kelly Barker, Meghan Doherty and Nardia Moore to the state championship all four years, advancing to the regional semi-finals in 1998... Was a member of the South Carolina Olympic Development team.
