Soccer's Kayla Beauduy Named Second Team All-Southern Conference

Beaudy ranked third on the team with three goals scored

Anna Betton begins her third season with the Catamounts as an assistant coach.

The Greensboro, N.C. native racked up many accolades playing for Southern Conference foe Furman. In 2007, Betton led the Paladins to a Southern Conference Championship and was the league's Player of the Year after leading the conference in every major statistical category (13 goals, 10 assists and 30 points in 20 matches).

Betton ranks sixth on Furman's career goals with 32 and seventh in career points with 83. She collected two All-Conference and All-Tournament honors in her illustrious career with the Paladins.

In 2008, Betton was the women's assistant coach at Lees-Mcrae College in Banner Elk, N.C.

Betton received her bachelor of science degree in Communication Studies from Furman in 2008.
