Greenville, N.C. - The Western Carolina women's golf team finished eighth at the Lady Pirate Fall Intercollegiate.
Freshman Jo Lundgerg led the Lady Cats with a three round total of 227 (76-74-77) to place sixth overall. Line Cordes placed eighth with scores of 75-75-80 for a total of 230. Rebecca Twiner and Mary Faulk finished the tournament tied 58th overall with scores of 251 (83-86-82 and 86-85-80). Brook Stillman recorded a final score of 271 (88-92-91) to place 82nd in the tournament.
Western Carolina will host the Great Smokies Intercollegiate, Monday, October 22-23 at the Waynesville County Club.
