Richmond, Ky. - The Western Carolina women's golf team is tied for sixth after day one of the Eastern Kentucky Classic in Richmond, Ky. The team shot 321 for the day to sit at +33.

Freshman Johanna Lundberg is currently tied for third place among a field of 87 golfers with a one-round score of 75. Freshman Line Cordes is tied for the 23rd spot at 80.

Austin Peay State University is currently in first place with a team score of 310. Samantha Fox of Austin Peay is first individually after shooting a 72 for the day.

The tournament continues tomorrow and Saturday in Richmond.
