Shot her career-low round of 72 on the opening 18 holes of the Great Smokies Intercollegiate ... Recorded her career-best finish - tied for 19th - at the Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate, co-hosted by WCU and Appalachian State ... Finished 46th at the 2009 Southern Conference Women's Golf Championship.
Prior to Western: Was a force to be reckoned with on the golf course since middle school ... Had her first under par round in competition (68/-4) in the ninth grade ... Was also named the All-Area Player of the Year during both her freshman and sophomore years ... Selected to the All-Area Team four times and was the 2006 Gainesville Sun Player of the Year ... For the week of September 18, 2006, was named the Golfweek magazine "National Player of the Week" ... Was voted into the National Honor Society her sophomore year and won the Gainesville High School Academic Excellence Award in 2006.
