Catamount Women's Golf Tied for Fourth at Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate

Natalia Villavicencio paced WCU on Sunday in a tie for third-place

2016-17 (Freshman): Competed in five of the team’s 10 tournaments including once unattached as an individual … Posted a scoring average of 85.83, battling through a knee injury … Made her collegiate debut at the Terrier Intercollegiate, finishing 61st overall … Carded a career-low round of 75 at the UNF Collegiate.

Prior to Western Carolina: Was a three-time South Mountain Athletic Conference (SMAC) Player of the Year and all-conference selection ... Qualified for the North Carolina 3A state tournament through play in the Western Regional three times ... Finished her senior season with an 18-hole stroke average of 83.40, and was twice honored by MaxPreps with its Player of the Match award ... As a freshman, claimed individual medalist honors at the second of two Big South 3A Conference golf matches, leading her to a third-place seasonal finish in the standings that led all Cleveland County girls' golfers ... Also competed in three events on the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour during the summer of 2015 and 2016.
