2017 Bill Berg Invitational

Women's Golf hosted the 2017 Bill Berg Invitational at The Ridges Country Club in Hayesville, NC.

2016-17 (Junior): Played in all 10 of the team's seasonal tournaments, competing in 26 rounds ... Finished with a seasonal stroke average of 80.04, carding nine rounds in the 70s on the year ... Led the Catamounts in scoring at two tournaments including a WCU-best runner-up finish at the home Bill Berg Invitational held at the Ridges in Hayesville ... Paced the WCU scoring five at the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate in the fall in just her second tournament for the Purple & Gold, finishing tied for 31st overall ... Also posted a top 20 finish with a 16th-place tie at the Bulldog Florida Invitational ... Selected to the 2017 Spring Academic All-Southern Conference team ... Named a 2016-17 WGCA All-American Scholar.

Prior to Western Carolina: Spent two seasons on the women's golf roster at Pfeiffer University before transferring to WCU prior to Fall, 2016 ... Was a two-time all-conference selection in the Carolinas Conference ... Recorded nine, top 10 finishes during her time at Pfeiffer including eight top five performances with three individual medalist honors ... Earned second team all-conference as a sophomore after collecting third team plaudits as a freshman ... Twice scored individual medalists honors as a sophomore including winning the 2016 Carolinas Conference Championship event ... Posted a seasonal scoring average of 77.83 with 15 of her 18 seasonal rounds carded 70-or-better as a sophomore ... Won the Cutter Creek Invitational, scoring a two round total of 156 during her freshman season, adding a runner-up showing at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational, recording her best 36-hole total of 147 ... Finished the season with a stroke average of 79.39 over 18 seasonal rounds ... Attended Blackebergs Gymnasium and Troxhammar GK prior to coming to the United States.
