CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina women’s basketball will host a pair of basketball camps this summer. The individual camp, for third to 12th grade, will be held June 18-20 and the team camp will be held June 26-27.

The cost for commuters at the Individual Camp is $175 an overnight campers is $225 – registration deadline is June 11. Instruction will include specific offensive and defensive fundamentals, fast break drills, numerous daily competitions and five-on-five full court games. As a part of this event, campers can expect to improve their shooting form and consistency, improve ball handling, and learn how to become an even better passer. For advanced players looking for a more intense weekend of basketball, an advanced division will be included in the price. Campers will be challenged and motivated by the Catamounts players and Head Coach Karen Middleton.

The team camp cost is $125 plus $50 per camper – registration deadline is June 19. Teams can play where the Catamounts play, in the Ramsey Center. Get a jump on competition and participate in five games over a two day span on the Western Carolina campus. A competitive and challenging environment will be provided for your team to improve and take the next step together. Karen Middleton and her staff will provide a CHALK TALK the first night of camp.
