CULLOWHEE, N.C. - Western Carolina women's basketball (7-18, 5-11 Southern Conference) opens up a two-game road swing at 5 p.m. Saturday at Chattanooga (23-3, 16-1 SoCon). The game will be televised on ESPN3.
The Catamounts will play three of its last four games of the season on the road.
Notes:
Shauna Terry has 98 career blocks, ranking her fourth in the Catamount record books ... She needs five blocks to move into third place.

Women's Basketball Downed by Chattanooga, 70-43
Freshman guard Lindsay Simpson led Western Carolina women's basketball (4-12, 2-5 Southern Conference) with 13 points, in the first start of her career, as the Catamounts fell to Chattanooga (14-3, 7-1 SoCon) 70-43 Sunday in the Ramsey Center.

Of Western Carolina's five wins in conference, two have been on the road.
Freshman guard Lindsay Simpson has scored in double figures seven times, which leads the team.
