  • Freshman guard Tess Harris picked up the second start of her career against Samford on Feb. 11. She posted 12 points and tied her career-high with four made three-pointers including the trey which cut the Bulldog lead to one, 51-50, with two seconds left in the game. Harris has also hit at least one three-pointer in the last five games.
  • Junior forward Sherae Bonner got back to her double-double ways with 15 points and 10 rebounds against Samford on Feb. 11. It was the eighth time this season Bonner has recorded a double-double. With the 10 rebounds, Bonner has 224 boards this year alone and is just 13 shy of breaking her single-season career-best of 237.
  • Western Carolina and ETSU meet for 67th time in women’s basketball dating back to the 1968-69 season ... ETSU leads the all-time series, 45-21, including six-straight series wins dating back to a two-game Catamount win streak which spanned six years – winning in 2007 in the first round of the WNIT and again in 2013 before ETSU rejoined the Southern Conference ... WCU has not defeated the Bucs since they came back into the league in 2014-15.
  • Five of the Catamounts’ wins have come at home this season (5-5) ... Western Carolina has three overtime wins this year in four tries ... Western Carolina is 2-2 over the last four games.
