Winning against Furman was a great feeling for our team. Everyone definitely came to play and everything was clicking on the floor. We were able to take advantage of Furman's mistakes and also play to our team's strengths. For each of us to play in that game and be effective was a huge confidence boost.

The game was especially important for me because there were 10 other Feemsters in the audience cheering me on. Family is very important to me and I have always tried to do my best to make them proud. Words cannot express how much I love them!

As we head into our game against Appalachian State, I hope our team remembers how good it felt to play well together and win. Just like a real family, we all want to make each other proud. Nobody wants to be the one to mess up and let the team down we know it's good to support each other even when mistakes are made. We're not perfect by any means but sticking together is a must.

I'm anxious to get back on the court and see how we play against App State. It's amazing what a glimpse of light at the end of the tunnel can do for a team's chemistry.
