Cullowhee, N.C. - The Western Carolina women's basketball team and third-year head coach Kellie Harper will be the featured guests on "In the Litterbox" TONIGHT (Jan. 31) from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm on WWCU-FM, Power 90dot5. In addition to Harper, scheduled guests are sophomore forward Kendra Eaton (Winston-Salem, N.C.) and freshman guard Heather Swayne (Raleigh, N.C.).
The Lady Catamounts have won seven-straight and are currently tied atop the Southern Conference standings entering this weekend. WCU visits Davidson on Saturday (Feb. 3) and arch-rival Appalachian State on Monday (Feb. 5).
"ITL" is a weekly interactive sports talk show that highlights Western Carolina Catamount athletics. Each week includes recaps of WCU current events, as well as in-studio interviews with Catamount personalities. The show is hosted by WCU junior, Josh Thompson, of Lincolnton, N.C., and produced by station student general manager, Kyle McCurry.
WWCU-FM, Power 90dot5 continues to serve as the Flagship Station of Catamount Athletics this season, broadcasting Catamount football and men's and women's basketball thus far this season. WWCU has also been a partner with WCU Athletics in broadcasting the SoCon Women's Soccer Championship and NCAA tournametn appearance, as well as the first-ever Catamount Softball games last season, continuing with both the softball and baseball SoCon tournaments.
