Cullowhee, N.C. - The Southern Conference office has worked out an arrangement to broadcast the February 5, 2004 women's basketball game between the Western Carolina Catamounts and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Lady Mocs live from Chattanooga on College Sports Television (CSTV) at 7:00 pm.

This game will mark the first ever "national" television network exposure for Southern Conference Women's Basketball. The Lady Cats look for a second straight victory in Chattanooga as WCU defeated UTC on the road last year in a 73-69 thriller. It marked the first time the Cats had beat Chattanooga since the 1998-99 season.

"We are very excited about our first televised game," WCU head coach Beth Dunkenberger said. "You can be certain that we'll give 100 percent to give the nation an exciting match-up in Chattanooga."
