2006-07 (Senior): Played in 21 games and started one ... Played in three Southern Conference Championship games in her Catamount career ... Named to the SoCon TIAA-CREF Winter Academic All-Conference Team ... Missed a total of 12 games - including 10-straight - due to illness and injury ... Ended her Catamount career by scoring 323 points ... Scored in double figures twice, both times scoring 11; Recorded eight-or-more rebounds six times.
2005-06 (Junior): Played in all 29 contests as a junior, making 19 appearances in the starting lineup ... Averaged 3.8 points and 4.0 rebounds per game, with the latter ranking tied for third on the team, while averaging 20.5 minutes per contest ... Led WCU in scoring once and rebounding four times ... Opened her junior season by scoring a career-best 11 points at Detroit-Mercy (Nov. 18), adding a team-high eight rebounds, three of which came on the offensive boards ... Played a then career-best 28 minutes at 10th-ranked Michigan State (Nov. 20), setting a career high with 31 minutes of court time at Florida State (Nov. 26) ... Pulled down eight rebounds against UNC Asheville (Dec. 3), half of which were on the offensive end ... Was perfect from the field (3-for-3) for seven points at High Point (Dec. 19) ... While only managing four points in the road win at Wofford (Dec. 31), pulled down four rebounds and swiped a career-best three steals with no turnovers ... Tied for a team-high in rebounds, boarding seven at home against UNC Greensboro (Jan. 18) ... Only played four minutes in the home win over Appalachian State (Feb. 6), hitting the floor and injuring her front two teeth ... Led Western in the road win over Georgia Southern (Feb. 13), shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from the field and 3-for-3 from the free throw line, tying her career-highs with 11 points and three assists while adding six rebounds ... 2004-05 (Sophomore): Played in 29 of the 32 games ... Scored 53 points and pulled down 67 rebounds during her sophomore season ... Scored a season-high four points while grabbing four boards in a loss to Appalachian State (Dec. 6) ... Tallied five points and three boards in the loss to Furman (Dec. 11) ... Boarded a season-high five rebounds to accompany three points and a steal in the win over the College of Charleston ... Tied her season-best with five boards in the win over ETSU (Feb. 7) ... Pulled down a season-best eight rebounds in the win at UNC Greensboro (Feb. 12) ... Tallied a season-high seven points in the opening round victory over Wofford (Mar. 2).
2003-04 (Freshman): Named to the SoCon All-Freshman team, marking four consecutive years a Catamount has earned the nod ... Played in all 31 games, starting seven ... Shot .464 (45-of 97) from the field which would have ranked ninth in the SoCon had she met the league's minimums ... Ended the season as a force on the boards, averaging 5.6 rebounds per game over the final seven games of the season ... Pulled down seven boards in three straight games during the span, including the first round of the SoCon Championship ... As a starter, averaged 52.6 percent shooting from the field during that seven-game span and tallied 24 points, 31 boards, seven assists, one steal and a block ... Rejected two shots against UNC Asheville (Dec. 6) then repeated the feat later in the season in wins versus Furman and Wofford (Feb. 21 & 23) ... Recorded 15 blocked shots to lead the team ... Other than teammate Tiffany Hamm's 16 blocks in her freshman year, May has rejected more than any current Catamount in a single season, making her presence under the basket more of a factor for the team ... Ranked 14th in the SoCon with 0.48 rejections per game ... Recorded a season-high nine points twice this year as well as nine rebounds two times ... Totaled 118 points as a freshman to average 3.8 per game, as well as tallying 139 rebounds (4.5/gm), 22 assists and 21 steals ... Shot 46 percent from the floor for the season to rank third on the squad.
High School: Played ball at McDowell High School, which finished its 2002-03 season with a 26-3 record and advanced to the regional finals... May averaged 13 points and eight rebounds per game as a 6-1 center... Shot 54 percent from the field and 75 percent from the free throw line... Was named to the Blue-White All Star team and played in the North Carolina East-West game over the summer... Was also named to the Asheville Citizen-Times' All-Western North Carolina team in her senior year.
