Playing as individuals, Western Carolina's Benjy Davey finished tied for 16th while Michael Chapin was tied for 29th at the par 72, 7,096-yard Etowah Valley Country Club.
North Greenville University won the team title by two strokes over Campbellsville, 603-to-605.
Davey, a sophomore from Troy, N.C., carded a two-round total of 154, including a career-best round of two-over, 74, in the opening round to lead the two Catamounts. Chapin, a sophomore from Roswell, Ga., shot rounds of 78 and 79 to finish three strokes in arrears at 157.
Western Carolina returns to action as a squad this weekend as the Catamounts travel to Lexington, Ky., for the UK Bluegrass Classic at the University Club. It is WCU's final tune-up before the Southern Conference Men's Golf Championship, April 19-21 at the Country Club of South Carolina in Florence, S.C.
