Mason Rudolph Championship Final Results

Junior Ricky Stout and sophomore Caleb Marsh each recorded a three-day total of 217 to finish tied for 23rd as Western Carolina placed 13th overall in the Mason Rudolph Championship which concluded Sunday afternoon at the par 71 Vanderbilt Legends Club.
The three-day total of 880 carded by the Catamounts ranks 13th on WCU's all-time, 54-hole tournament scoring charts.
South Carolina fired a 13-under 839 to win the event team championship by eight strokes over Southeastern Conference (SEC) counterpart, Kentucky (847). A third SEC school, Mississippi State, was third at 850, followed by Middle Tennessee State (854) and the host, Vanderbilt (855), rounding out the top five.
Kentucky's Ben Fuqua broke the 200 barrier with a 15-under 198 to claim individual medalist honors by seven strokes over Vanderbilt's Jon Curran (205) and Middle Tennessee's Jason Millard (205).
Stout shot an even-par 71 on Sunday to move up to 23rd, while Marsh - who led after the opening round on Friday - slipped with a final round 76. Senior Andres Cuenca posted a three-day total of 220 to finish tied for 43rd, while juniors Dustin Furnari (226, t-71st) and Cody Walker (237, t-87th) rounded out the field for WCU.
The Catamounts return to action Oct. 6-7 at the Mizuno Intercollegiate, hosted by Southern Conference foe, Georgia Southern, in Savannah, Ga., at the Savannah Quarters Country Club.
