2009-10 (Sophomore):Played in 10 of the 11 seasonal tournaments, only missing the Aldila Scenic City Invitational in Chattanooga ... Ranked fourth on the team with an overall scoring average of 75.04 ... Posted his first-ever top 10 finish with a career-best sixth-place showing at the season-opening Spring Hill Suites Intercollegiate, hosted by Francis Marion at the Country Club of South Carolina ... Shot a career-low, three-round 211 which included a career-low round of 68 ... Led the team for the first-time in his career with a 14th-place finish and a three-round score of 214 at the Cowboy Classic at the Talking Stick Golf Course in Arizona ... Finished tied for 36th at the Southern Conference Championship.
2008-09 (Freshman):Competed in four events averaging 77.40 over his 10 rounds ... Finished tied for 79th with a three-round score of 230 in his WCU debut at the Aldila Intercollegiate ... His previous career-best finish of 73rd came at the Cowboy Classic, hosted by Wyoming at the Talking Stick Golf Course in Scottsdale, Ariz. ... Posted his season-low round of 70 on the final 18 holes of the Cowboy Classic event ... During the summer, finished tied for 16th at the 49th annual North Carolina Amateur Championship with a one-under, 287.
Prior to Western:Was a four-time, Northwest 1A All-Conference selection for Mount Airy High, and earned team MVP honors all four years at MAHS ... In 2007, won four individual medalist honors including the Atlantic Coast Junior Masters with consecutive rounds of 70 ... The winning continued through his junior season as Wilson also won the Eastern Junior Golf Association tournament in Siler City, N.C., the National Junior Golf Club tournament at the Pitt and the Trusted Choice "Big I" regional qualifier ...
