2011-12 (Sophomore): Played in all 10 events and 29 rounds during the season ... Ranked fourth on the team overall with a seasonal stroke average of 76.28 ... Recorded a season-best finish at the Samford Intercollegiate (March, 2012) by placing amidst a tie for 23rd place ... Carded his seasonal-low round of even-par, 72, three times including at the Mason Rudolph Championship (Sept., 2011), the Donald Ross Intercollegiate (Oct., 2011) and again at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate (March, 2012) ... Ranked third on the team at the Southern Conference Championship (April, 2012) recording his career-best finish in a tie for 43rd at the conference finale.
2010-11 (Freshman): Competed in 10 of Western Carolina's 11 events as a true freshman ... Debuted in 32nd on WCU's individual career stroke average charts with his 78.36 average through 28 rounds ... Finished 70th in his first collegiate event at The Invitational hosted by the College of Charleston at the Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, S.C. ... Posted a career-best finish at the Davidson Invitational (Fall 2010), placing in a tie for 21st ... Fired his career-low round of 71 in the third round of the Davidson Invitational ... Finished 54th in his first Southern Conference Championsihp ... Qualified for the North Carolina Amateur held during the summer months.
Prior to Western: Was named the Southern Piedmont 1-A/2-A Conference Player of the Year ... Was a two-time, 1-A North Carolina High School State Boy's Golf Champion, mirroring another former Catamount standout, Matt Cook ... Successfully defended his title in May, 2010 at the Longleaf Country Club in Pinehurst, N.C., firing rounds of 73 and 69 to lead his high school to a runner-up finish ... In the summer prior to enrolling at WCU, was crowned the individual champion at the 42nd Trusted Choice Big "I" National Championship, shooting a one-under 283 over the four-round event at the Old York Country Club at Chesterfield ... As a junior, won the 1-A state individual title by eight strokes at the Siler City Country Club ... In the spring of 2010, competed for the North Carolina squad in the Carolina's-Georgia Junior, finishing in a tie for sixth as an individual with a four-over, 148, that included six birdies over 36 holes ... Other tournament highlights include a final round 66 at the Joe Cheves Junior held at Mimosa Hills to finish in a tie for fourth in a field of 78 that included fellow WCU commitments, Witiak and Walks ...
