ASHEVILLE, NC -- The Southern Conference today announced its Players of the Week for contests played on Saturday, October 14.
Western Carolina quarterback David Rivers earned Offensive Player of the Week honors while teammate Lamont Seward was the league's Freshman of the Week. Furman free safety Josh Cooper earned Defensive Player of the Week honors. It is the second time that Rivers and Seward have won the award during the same week.
