Cullowhee, N.C. - Justin McLennan is this week's recipient of four free tickets to a Catamount home game after his question was picked in the weekly "Ask Kent Briggs" promotion. McLennan, who has won tickets to the East Tennessee State game, asked Western's first-year coach, "What is the most important trait a student-athlete should possess?"

Coach Briggs's reply was the following. "In my opinion, the most important trait for a student-athlete is character. To me, a person with strong character is a person with great work ethics, a strong desire to be the best he can be and a person that never gives up. Those type of people can be counted on to be a good teammate and can be relied on to do their assignment in a team oriented atmosphere. While character comes from within, it is learned through strong family values and from positive role model influences."

The Western Carolina Department of Athletics will give four free tickets for the upcoming Catamount home game to a lucky fan each week. To qualify, simply click the "Ask Kent Briggs" icon on catamountsports.com and submit your question. If your question is answered, you win.
