An all-star candidate as WCU coaches tout him as Western's best and most consistent offensive lineman ... Was named the offense's "Most Valuable Athlete" by the coaching staff at the conclusion of 2005 spring drills.
2005 (Jr.): A bit unheralded, starting all nine games in 2005 at left tackle and playing in the shadow of teammates and All-SoCon linemen Kevin McAlmont and Linden Ryan ... However, WCU coaches felt he was WCU's top player among the front five ... He was named WCU's offensive lineman MVP in three games last season ... First, he played a key role in WCU upsetting Furman ... His play allowed Darius Fudge to rush for 133 yards and be named SoCon Offensive Player of the Week ... The following week, he helped WCU, who ranked as high as 21st nationally at the time, nearly defeat its first NCAA I-A opponent as the Catamounts dropped a 7-3 decision at Cincinnati ... WCU had more yards of total offence than the Bearcats that night ... Versus Appalachian State, Fudge rushed for 5.1 yards per carry (81 yards on 16 attempts).
2004 (So.): Played in all 11 games, serving as a backup to Adam Donaldson and Wendell Singletary at both tackle positions.
2003 (RFr.): Played in five games as a back up offensive lineman ... During spring drills of 2003, made the move from defense to offense.

Prior to Western: Selected All-PAC 6 Conference as a senior and junior -- once as an offensive tackle and once as a defensive tackle ... Led Person HS to a conference title and a playoff berth in his final season ... Was a two-time PAC 6 Conference Player of the Week.
