2006 (Jr.): Appeared in nine games making three starts under center ... Completed 64 of his 127 pass attempts (50.4%) for 670 yards and three touchdowns ... Ranked seventh in the Southern Conference in passing yardage (74.7 ypg) and 10th in passing efficiency (100.9 rating) ... Saw his first action in the second half against Chowan, but did not attempt his first pass until two games later at Furman - a "Hail Mary" at the end of the first half but it fell incomplete ... Went 7-for-17 for 118 yards and two TD passes at home against nationally-ranked Georgia Southern ... Took over as the starting QB following a high ankle sprain to Bennett Swygert for the Elon game and again after Swygert re-injured his ankle prior to the Liberty and Appalachian State games ... Despite tossing his lone interception of the season on just his third pass attempt of the day, set career highs for completions (22), pass attempts (38) and passing yards (228) at Elon ... Again eclipsed the 20 completing and 100-yard passing plateaus with a 20-for-33 showing for 164 yards at Liberty ... Left the Appalachian State game in the second quarter following a hard collision and did not return and missed the season finale at Florida.
Prior to Western: Spent three seasons at the University of Cincinnati, redshirting the 2003 season ... Saw limited action in 2005 as a backup tight end ... In 2004, played in the Memphis game, but did not have stats ... High School: First team all-region choice ... Completed 85-of-150 passes for 813 yards and five touchdowns as a senior ... Played first three seasons at Parkland High in Allentown, Pa. ... Completed 71-of-132 passes for 706 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior, helping team to a 9-4 record and the upper state finals.
