2006 (So.): Played in eight games, making six starts along the defensive line ... Tallied 12 total tackles including three solo stops ... Made his first career start at nationally-ranked Furman ... Suffered a concussion at Wofford, missing back-to-back games at Liberty and against Appalachian State ... Returned to the field at Florida making a pair of stops.

2005 (Fr.): Started his freshman campaign at wide receiver ... Made the move to defensive end just prior to the season opener, where saw action in all nine games ... Used his speed to be an effective pass rusher, as well as a valuable member of the special teams ... Was credited with three tackles on the season, including a half sack in the season opener versus Mars Hill ... Scored a touchdown off a Nicholas Wishart blocked punt at Chattanooga ... Wishart blocked the punt on the 32 and, after being knocked around, Nelums fell on the loose ball in the endzone for the score.
